It’s time to laugh again at the Wellsville Country Club! September 14th, our local Kiwi lad Steve Wrigley hosts Buffalo's funniest comedian, Liz Reaves, and the king of comedy from Erie, PA, Anthony Morelli. To top the night off, Don Jenkins!
Originally from the Bronx, Don Jenkins honed his comedy in the mean streets of Brooklyn and Queens. After that, he moved onto performing at all the major comedy clubs in New York City, including Carolines, Comic Strip and Broadway Comedy Club. Now living in the Finger Lakes region, Jenkins brings his self-deprecating style of humor and observational comedy to Upstate New York.
It’s a top tier night of comedy with a Southern Tier attitude, and all to help the WDC continue to grow our amazing little town.
NEW this year -- the Wellsville Country Club will be serving up a delicious appetizer buffet for you to enjoy before the show! Drinks can be purchased at the bar before the show and during intermission. This event will be held outdoors on the deck. In the event of adverse weather, the event will still go on and will be moved to the indoor dining room. Everyone will go home well fed and thoroughly entertained and a handful of lucky attendees will go home with door prizes!
All proceeds will benefit the Wellsville Development Corporation and will be put in our general funds to be used toward Main Street holiday decorations, flower planters, mini grant awards, and other projects. We truly appreciate your support!
Seating for 'admit one' tickets will be on a first come, first serve basis. Reserved tables are available in limited quantities and sold out fast last year! If you'd like a reserved table, please be sure to order a "Table of Four - Reserved Seating" or "Table of Eight - Reserved Seating" option at checkout. These options will give you four or eight tickets and will ensure your table is reserved with your name. Please be sure to arrive on time. If you've not arrived by 7pm, we reserve the right to open your table up to seating for others.
Please note that this event is for adults only. Normally, we don't like to give out rules for events, but please plan to respect a few common comedy club courtesies at the event. Please turn off cell phones prior to the show starting, please refrain from getting up and down during the show, refrain from heckling and excessive talking, as these are distracting to both comedians and the audience and you may be asked to leave, which is never any fun.
